The Six List - The Bad Side of Facebook

Its been a while since I did the last Six List but I thought I would do one today. I was looking for a topic and thought of writing about this one which I really wanted to write about a few weeks back. I am sure most of you are using Facebook just like me. But lately I have found its good side going down the drain. Here are top 6 bad things I have found in Facebook. Check it out and let me know what you think =).

Number 6 - So many friends but do u really know them ?



When Mr.Mark Zukerberg first developed Facebook his intention was to build to a network to help people stay connected with their friends and relatives. After Facebook became a worldwide phenomena that idea has since changed and people do add random people as friends today. If someone sees someone on the road they search for their name and add them on facebook (specially if it's a pretty girl or a cute guy) and try to get to know them better.. Is this Good ? I don't think so.. Facebook is not a bloody dating site. You got soo many sites like that but Facebook is not. Sadly that situation is happening to Facebook and this comes at Number 6 on the list.


Number 5 - Sooo Many Applications and Invitations Do We Need Them ?



This has been a problem ever since I began to use Facebook and I guess u will agree on this too. Friends sending soooo many application invites and it was a bloody nuisance for a long long time. Thankfully the Facebook developers realized that and included an "Ignore All" option which has made life soo much easier but yet the applications invites never seem to stop. So this is another bad side of Facebook and it comes at Number 5.

Number 4 - Bad Bad Chat Application



Facebook was a website that was simple and nice but they thought of making that simplicity more simple by adding a chat application which sits pretty in the bottom right corner of the website. I agree on their idea but they have not put a lot of thought to the design of this chat application. The messages doesn't reach the others quickly and also people dont know if their friends r really online or not online. Further it;s kinda bloody annoying when u try to talk to with your friends and they don't respond. So because of this bad design the Chat application in Facebook comes at Number 4 in the list.


Number 3 - Constant Layout Changes... Give me a Break Guys..





Ok into the Top 3 and Number 3 is something that most of us hate. The constant facebook layout changes has made the website's simplicity go haywire and most people are leaving the website than joining it. Its ok if the changes are good but its NOT.All the things that people use to do with Facebook like writing on a friends wall , commenting on a picture has become soo complicated and each of these tasks need a tutorial of their own. And the funny things is soo many groups have been made as well just to make complains which i think is pathetic cos its just useless. So this bad thing about Facebook comes in Number 3 in the list.


Number 2 - Facebook for Sex ?? NO NO NO



Ok this was something I never expected and sadly it has become true as well. Facebook never had this problem but some developers who build applications have decided to do it their own way and have made Facebook a place for sex games. I cannot believe that MZ didn't notice this. True most people like it but dont they know that children use this site too ? and how it will affect them ? aren't they making room for Pedo's to appear and use Facebook as a perfect place for their crimes ? This is not good and is a very serious issue that people who use Facebook must be aware of. and remember it might be fun but it does have serious consequences so this is the 2nd Bad thing I find in Facebook.


Number 1 - Fake Profiles... Yuk !!

This shit comes at Number 1. Just see what I found on Facebook a few weeks a back a dude in hi5 ( yeah i still use it) send me a friend request I just browsed his profile and saw the pics and it looked cos I think I got a request on facebook from the same person with the same pic BUT WITH A DIFFERENT NAME (Don't Believe me ? see the pics Above ..)

so what is this ?? why people doing this ?? are they this jobless to create fake profiles and show off their identity ? and what they are trying to achieve from this ?? This is not a good thing to anyone who is using any of the above sites and its not good for social networking as a whole as the amount of trust you can put on people becomes very very limited. Further more seriously this is a CYBER CRIME so do keep on watch for these kinda people and profiles peeps cos when it hits you it hits hard and specially ladies do take a note of this they are "AFTER YOU " So this junk comes at Number 1 in my list and its an Important One so be aware my friends specially if you are an Addict to Facebook just like me..
